Customer Success Engineer, Latin America

As a Customer Success Engineer your primary responsibility will be onboarding, reporting and Production Support of our products.

The priority for this role will be supporting a business team in onboarding new clients to our technology, consisting of technical configuration work, plus testing and reporting that validates a successful configuration.

You’ll work with implementation managers to understand our lender’s needs, our Product Team to understand how the software should work, our QA Team to verify how the software is working, and our Engineering Team to debug and help solve some of the issues.

What you’ll do (About Role)

 

Technical Focus

  • Work in Clojure and Clara Rules on a distributed Expert System
  • Learn about the Amazon Cloud and Microservice Architectures
  • Collect, review and provide feedback on requirements from the implementation managers and translate those requirements into technical configuration settings
  • Apply configurations, test them, debug them and deploy them with business support from implementation managers
  • Manage Production Support for the customers you configure, sometimes resolving the issues, sometime escalating and triaging with support from others

Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as development, QA and product development to ensure understanding of our core products and services and your role in configuring and supporting those products and services for our customers
  • Manage Production Support for the customers you configure, sometimes resolving the issues, sometime escalating and triaging with support from others across the organization

Your Skills (Skills we are looking for)

  • Comfortable working in Clojure
  • Experienced with distributed microservice architectures
  • Bonus points for experience with:
    • Financial technology
    • AI / Expert Systems
    • AWS / Terraform
  • Experience with SQL, SSM, Amazon Webservices, Postman, XML, JSON, Snowflake or similar SQL DB
  • Ability and willingness to execute across strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Comfortable and effective in a fully remote culture
  • Excited about working in an emerging and innovative space within an entrepreneurial, startup driven environment
  • Self-motivated, highly productive, and result-driven problem solver with excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the development of presentation content

Experience or Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, etc.), or Information Technology
  • Experience in technology implementation, transformation strategy and execution, or enterprise level change management
  • Demonstrated career successes with customer, or partner implementation of technology or data solutions
  • Experience working with lender origination systems (LOS), point of sale (POS) solutions, automated underwriting systems (AUS), underwriting process and rules/workflow engines a plus
  • Experience in finance technology implementations (ideally Fintech solutions) a plus
