Senior Account Executive
We’re seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Account Executive to join our growing team at Gateless. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for selling our innovative AI-powered product, Gateless Smart Underwrite®. This groundbreaking solution is designed to revolutionize the mortgage industry by automating and accelerating the underwriting process, helping lenders close loans faster, reduce costs, and improve the borrower experience.
Gateless Smart Underwrite® is a cutting-edge AI platform that uses machine learning and natural language processing to analyze loan documents, identify key data points, and automate manual tasks. By eliminating the “stare and compare” process, it empowers underwriters to focus on higher-level risk analysis, leading to greater efficiency, accuracy, and profitability for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify and target potential clients within the mortgage lending industry, including banks, credit unions, and independent mortgage companies.
- Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification to product demonstrations, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
- Consultative Selling: Demonstrate the ability and have a track record with C Suite executives and large lenders. Develop a deep understanding of the challenges facing mortgage lenders and demonstrate how Gateless Smart Underwrite can solve their specific pain points.
- Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on Gateless Smart Underwrite®, including its features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Building Relationships: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, specifically in large organizations and C- Suite.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline in our CRM, forecasting sales accurately and meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual quotas.
- Market Feedback: Gather and relay valuable market feedback to our product and marketing teams to help inform future development and messaging.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a B2B sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience selling technology solutions to the financial services or mortgage industry is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning and demonstrating new technology platforms. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions.
- Drive & Resilience: A self-starter who is results-oriented, highly motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree

This means you will provide input on trade shows and other lead generation activities, and you will actively manage and pursue incoming leads. In addition, you will support the trade show efforts of the whole team, including all available time at the show to meet customers and prospects, generating leads for other sales reps, and assisting with the logistics of the conference, including setting up and breakdown down.
- The company depends on salesforce.com being updated and accurately maintained. You will maintain accurate records in salesforce.com of your activity, and will regularly update the stages, revenue potential and timeframes for all your opportunities.
- Your role will require travel as needed, expected to be up to 25% of your professional time.
